Have you noticed that the people who are always saying 'be yourself' are the people who try the hardest to fit in?
I dont understand how people 'fit in' exactly. We are always told that we are different and unique, so why do we try to be the same as eachother just to be liked?
It doesn't make any sense to me, I'm not saying that I'm always my self, because I'm not, I'll be honest with you. I change when I'm with different people, but dont we all? Why are we always being told to be ourselves? When really, who you are changes all the time. Im not always a nice person either, alot of the time I say things I wish that I hadn't or I do something I regret later, but thats part of living, right?
so it brings me to my first question, why do we try to fit in? If you really think about it were just copying others. Making yourself almost like clones. It's not right, I dont even see the point of it.
We all die at the end right? So if your a good person why should any of that other stuff even matter? Things like who's dressed the best, or who has the perfect smile, that doesnt even matter when we're all dead and gone right?
what matters really, is what you leave behind and what people will remember. what people will remember are the times you made them smile, the times you laughed and the times you had fun.
So dont try to blend in. theres no point since we're all different.
You need to focus on what makes you feel happy and smile, and prioritise that over everything else.
Okay, so this is my first blog post thing, comment what you thought about it and if you have any suggestions on what I should post about next
